Regional Digital Safety Advocate
Corporate, External and Legal Affairs

Europe (Amsterdam, Helsinki, London, Munich, Paris or Copenhagen)

Microsofts Corporate, External and Legal Affairs team (CELA) has an immediate opening for a highly skilled professional to be responsible for Microsofts Regional Digital Safety Advocacy program.   This unique role, combining industry and government affairs responsibilities, will cover Europe with a particular focus on the United Kingdom, France, Germany and other markets where digital safety issues are most top of mind.

Fostering digital safety for customers, services, and the overall online ecosystem is one of the most pressing issues for the tech sector today.  Microsofts Digital Safety team is a new group within CELA  that seeks to \'earn customer trust every day\' by, among other things, addressing the growing challenge of illegal and harmful content online.  The team partners with Microsofts Government Affairs regional teams on both proactive and reactive engagements impacting a broad array of digital safety topics.

The Regional Digital Safety Advocate will work in close partnership with (among others) the CELA area leads and Government Affairs teams across Europe, as well as the CELA Corporate Digital Safety team in Redmond.

This is an opportunity to be part of a global team in a role that will involve rich engagement with leaders from NGOs, governments and the private sector across Europe, and an opportunity to travel and be part of cutting edge issues at an exciting time with an exciting company.  We will invest in you as an employee, providing regular training and support, and a network of dedicated and passionate colleagues from around the world.
